I took my mom here today and we loved it! The woman cooking and doing everything on her own with a little help from her regulars doing some coffee fills, was the owner, I believe (i should have asked her name) .. Anyway this place far surpassed what we have been looking for. I felt like I was at a friend's place ♥️ mom got an omelet and it looked delicious, she said it was. I just had 2 eggs over medium with crispy bacon and hash browns... the eggs were perfect, cant say enough! Oh and the prices! I felt like I was indeed back in 80s 90s... delicious food, great prices, happy friendly people.. Will be going there every time from now on ♥️ next time im trying the biscuit and gravy, yum!

This is absolutely the best spot for a meal. The atmosphere is amazing! I love how they treat you like family from the first step in the door. The door is fresh and fast too. Definitely recommend and definitely will go out of my way to come back. Keep up the great work. We need more places like this.

Yikes. This is obviously a local hangout, but most diners or cafes will still make visitors feel welcome. Not so much. The server was also the cook, which meant the usual quick service of a diner kitchen was a long wait instead. The owner flitted around engaging in conversation and complaining. Another patron ended up passing over one of our drinks, which she made by left on the counter. The conversations across the room were loud and occasionally unnerving. We ordered our food to go, and when we opened it, we discovered that pancakes ordered with blueberries came without, by we certainly weren't going back to address it.
That said, the prices are indeed cheap, and the buttery pancakes were good even without blueberries.

Down home cafe with yummy food and great service. Priced sensibly! When we were about to drive away our server came running out with my trumpet case which I had left behind! I’m just passing through but I hope to return sometime. We need more Star’s Cafes in this world.
