This place is great. Being from Long Island and accustomed to over priced meals that were underwhelming - this gem was the opposite! Having no shortage of Italian restaurants near my home, I found their food better, fresher (even the calamari and Haddock) and authentic than home. Homemade. Everything was amazing and this was one of my best meals in a long time. In my profession we speak about “happiness to pay” this was a meal that I was beyond happy to pay for.
A great family-owned restaurant. If I was on death row, I'd choose Lorenzo's Veal Parmesan and a side of calamari for my last meal. Everything I've ever had here has been great: food, drinks, service and atmosphere. I dine on all special occasions here. This place is king of the hill, top of the heap, a number one.

We tried Lorenzo's Southside for the first time last night for takeout. It was excellent! The Calamari Fritti was hand-breaded and unique in flavor, not your run-of-the-mill calamari.
