“Had breakfast there on the spur of the moment. It was delicious! Highly recommend the house breakfast burrito, but everything looked so good, it was hard to choose. Not much available in Sharon, but Gifford really hits the spot. They have wine and beer too!“

“Colleen and team are amazing! Super friendly, helpful to these first-time visitors/tourists, great to our kids and us (as were the other staff, but I didn’t catch their names), suggested places in the area to visit, explained the upcoming burger wars (we may come back Sunday for it!), and more. Just great, small-town feel and conversation, loved it. And I can’t forget to mention - best burgers we’ve had in YEARS!“

“Jeff is top rate. We are fortunate to have his cooking in our little town. The food is comparable to any big city restaurant. The atmosphere is casual, all the same. We’ve had supper there so often, the staff wonders where we are if we don’t come in for a while.“
“I havent came to the locatiom, but I have now worked with the company. After going to a local store to buy the product, it was an obvious production mistake when the bottle was plastic sealed but no cork. I just informed the customer support about that and they offer a new bottle. Not only did they do that, they also sent a sample size of other ones. As a business owner myself, I truly respect and appreciate the customer service aspect you presented. Wish you guys all the best and you have a constant customer of your product going forward.“

“Went for dinner as we often have. Food was mostly good as usual. Service and the kitchen were very slow. The salmon dish my wife ordered was raw. They fixed it but just more time… understood they were short a chef tonight. Seems hard to attract or keep good help anywhere these days …“

“Oakhurst Diner in Millerton, NY is a charming 1940s Silk City diner that blends nostalgic Americana with a modern twist. Its diverse menu ranges from breakfast burritos to meatloaf with mashed potatoes, with unexpected touches like Ma’s Pho and even sake.
The chrome exterior and retro neon sign—with a few dimmed letters that show its age—set the tone for a warm, vintage-inspired interior. Having visited for over 35 years, we've always appreciated the consistent quality—even through changes in ownership. In 2010, Paul Harney and the Panzer brothers introduced a fusion of old-school Americana with unexpected international flair. By layering in Asian-inspired dishes alongside classic diner comfort foods, they created the distinctive signature that defines Oakhurst today.
On this visit, weekend crowds made the service slower—a reminder of why we used to come only on weekdays when we lived in the area.
Entering the diner can pose a trip hazard for those with mobility issues. Even so, the food remains as distinctive and satisfying as ever. Our hope is simply that the owners give the historic building the same care and attention they put into their cooking.“

“We held our reunion there yesterday for the Roe Jan class of 1968. The Clock Tower is an excellent place for a reunion; we started out in the (spacious) bar section, then moved to their dining room, which we had reserved in advance for just us. The staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly, the waitress was wonderful, and the food was delicious. Thank you for a great experience!“
