Nellie's is a great place to get " real " food that's tasty and unpretentious. It's a good place for families to dine. The workers are very efficient and friendly. The food is delicious, and arrived very quickly. The prices were very good, in comparison to many other restaurants, also. Our family of six had a great, quick meal. We highly recommend Nellie's Restaurant!
The good news is, the battered Fishfry was cooked perfectly, as well as the broiled fish my wife had. The macaroni salad was pretty good too, and the fries were ok for frozen. The not great part (for us, maybe your tastes are different) was the tartar sauce was made with sweet relish-too sweet. The coleslaw was way overpowered by celery seeds- honestly its all I could taste. Cool atmosphere, and staff were pretty good. Oh Nellie's always my first choice for breakfast with the family. Food always delicious and fresh and reasonable prices for a family of four, and they cater too picky eaters like my oldest daughter. Love the place.
