This is the most authentic Japanese restaurant in the area, period. Truly fresh fish, homemade tofu, sea eel and a variety of dishes I’ve never seen anywhere in NY. If you come here, let go of your American expectations and embrace real Japanese culture. Took a look at the menu and realize they cover a lot of ground of Japanese cuisine, five of us had dinner tonight and each of us enjoyed our meal. Japanese food is much more than sushi and hibachi. Instead of a meal, I enjoyed the large, appetizer style menu (69 items,) Which allows me to order many different things.
