“Used to go here when it was Debra T’s Cafe! I raised all 3 kids there! It was SO Good SO adorable SO clean! Was devastated when Debra T’s closed! Then it opened as Maple cafe and they quickly dismantled the adorable decorations that Debra T’s had up 😣 In my opinion they destroyed it took the booths out and took all the adorable cute things down. It was dirty and we never went back SO sad! Then driving by yesterday and wala it was a new name!!!! Omg YAY We walked in and it was CLEAN which is SO incredibly important!! And so cute! Definitely had a Debra T vibe going on!! 🎉🎉🎉 Spectacular food delicious ice cream super cute and fun! Lovely owner young sweet workers that were pleasant and funny! “What a nice surprise. The food was very good and the service was excellent. They decorated fur Christmas which was fun and had a good vibe. Head chef Christopher came out and asked us about the food and asked us if we needed anything . The menu is different from online because it is under new management. My tacos were tasty and my wife’s burger with Brie was unbelievable. Fun drink options and overall the food prices were reasonable. The spinach dip was fantastic just needed more bread. The desserts included the churros and the hazelnut tart. Great presentation.“

“We drove from fishkill after my mom’s chemo treatment in pok … we haven’t been here in a while because it is a drive but we were in pok and we were in the mood for different. We were very happy with the food everything was great we just weren’t happy with the service, we had to ask multiple times for Splenda, the waitress spilled the milk and I used my napkins, she never gave us extra (she had them in her apron) I had to call her over for some then she was taking the finished plates and dropped the butter knife on my mothers foot and never apologized and seen it fall and looked under the table . not sure if the waitress was a bit off her game but we decided to enjoy the food.“

“Went above and beyond when my husband ordered me a gluten free lettuce wrapped burger. Asked him if it was a sensitivity or allergy, when he replied allergy they stopped production of all other burgers to make mine so it would have no contact trace. Not to mention their fries are always gluten free. So very grateful to be able to get safe food for my celiac disease while getting take out!“

“There food is good. The Handshakes wings are AMAZING. It's family owned and operated I believe. So we like to support local. I have been going there for years. recently mostly take out. But ate there last night. it was great. the service was good. They also make a great burger. I think best for a burger and wings. my husband loves the patty melt. per him it come out perfect no need for ketchup or salt or pepper.“

Now the atmosphere? Different story. Pull up after dark and it feels like you’re stepping into a rap video without a camera crew. Young heads posted up front like it’s their business, sizing you up like you just walked into the wrong project building. Ain’t no “how can I help you?”…more like “what you lookin’ at?”

We did a pick-up order, and noticed when we got home that the salad was missing that went with the ravioli dinner. We called, and what seemed like only moments after I put down the phone, the doorbell rang with the salad and bread and apologies delivered -- great service!“

“Indulging in a bit of nostalgia l, as this was one of my family's favorite stops with us kids at the time in the 1960s-70s. Back then, it was a typical DQ with a walk-up window. Now, like everything else, it's modernized.

I did the drive-thru and ordered a chocolate dip top cone. The car in front of me must have had a more formidable order because I waited behind him for over 10 minutes.

The cone was good, but maybe my expectations were a bit high. The service was good too. But it just lacked the fun of standing outside on line for an ice cream treat on a hot summer night. I guess both DQ and I are not kids anymore.“
