Great little stop with pastries and sandwiches, it’s got a nice atmosphere and seating outside which is mostly shaded.

So. Many. Fruit. Flies.
I went to Taza at 5:30 pm on Saturday March the 22 and the girl working the cash register was extremely rude. This isn’t the first time the cashier has been rude before but since this is the third time that I’ve experienced bad service I wanted to leave a review. I ordered a lavender chai and the iPad to pay it said vanilla chai so I asked once more if it could be lavender, and in a rude tone with a dirty look on her face, the cashier told me that she was going to make it lavender. I was unsure why she had this tone and apologized because I didn’t know what else to say and was shocked by the abrupt rudeness. She then asked if I wanted anything else and then turned away from me, leaving me waiting. I usually wouldn’t mind this because I understand that workers have multiple tasks but she was not even doing anything, she simply was just being rude on purpose at this point. Very unprofessional and the place has a terrible vibe to it because of the cashiers.

Needed a cafe stop on way through that area. Tazza came up in Google Maps! Nice area with easy parking. Sweet cafe. Friendly, helpful staff. Good but chocolate, good tea! Easy on easy off if you are driving through that area.

This cafe needs to think twice before hiring its staff. We traveled a long distance and wanted a nice cup of coffee to treat ourselves after. The girls working the counter refused to serve us stating “they had already cleaned the machine” 20 minutes prior to closing. I have never felt so unwelcome by a coffee shop where you’re supposed to pride yourselves on customer service. The girls looked like I was interrupting their TikTok time by asking for a latte. Next time I come to a coffee shop I will be sure not to ask the barista for a coffee- I can’t believe I had the audacity. Next time think about who you hire to represent your company- this coffee shop won’t be successful much longer with this kind of attitude from staff. I see that I’m also not the first person its happened to.

There’s no such thing as customer service amy more. Stopped in at exactly 8 minutes before closing to get a nice cup of hot chocolate to go on a cruddy rainy night. I got the stink eye from the 2 girls working like I was definitely not wanted - the nerve of me to come in so close to closing- she told me all they had was regular coffee since it was close to closing before I even told her my request. I’m sure that would have been a struggle to make a cup of hot chocolate before closing- that may have taken all of 3 minutes? Change your hours and lock the door if you don’t want to serve people. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

I’ve been a resident of Armonk for 10+ years and coming to Tazza for years- the current newer staff is worse than any other I’ve seen. They constantly close early - the door was locked when I showed up 15 minutes before close on several occasions. They throw your drinks together in a haste even if they aren’t busy and you’re the only customer. They give you a “hurry up and get out” attitude if you show up in the last hour. It’s despicable- I am a paying customer and shouldn’t be made to feel bad for asking for a simple hot drink at 5:45, when closing time is 6. You’re supposed to clean up/shut down AFTER close- not 15 min before. Waste of money at this point to go here.
