The freshest seafood imaginable. Pick your fish, cooked as you prefer. We had whole Branzino, stuffed with herbs. Delicious.

Great value for fresh seafood. I ordered the grilled squid, fried sea bass, and baba ganoush for my party. You honestly can't go wrong with any of the options. The outdoor seating was great for the warmer seasons, and the food came out pretty quickly.

The food was hit and miss. The octopus and shrimp, both grilled, were overcooked, so it tasted tough and chewy. The fried calamari does not come with any marinara sauce. You do get free lemon slices. Service was poor, the waiter was inattentive even though the place was not even half full. Salad was good, fresh. Scallops were cooked well. Tahini was a small plate and I've had better elsewhere. Red snapper I'll also skip next time. If you pay cash you avoid the extra credit card charge (see picture). They do have a bathroom for customers. I would not recommend the octopus.

Pick your own seafood, cook it your way. As fresh as you can get, cooked middle eastern (place is Halal, no booze allowed) style. We typically get the greek salad, tangine (if we have more than 2 people) style stew along with various seafoods. They will suggest what works better for each fish. We tried grilled, baked, fried, blackened, all good. Smaller place, be prepared to wait if there's a crowd. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food you get. Parking is very competative in the area. Location is on the middle east section of Astoria. Down the block is a great baklava place, good way to end the meal.

This place is definitely a go to for seafood! I've seen this spot on social media plenty of times and always said I wanted to go! Finally we went and it was wonderful! They start you off with a basket of freshly made warm bread and asked what dip we'd like which we chose tahini. The tahini tastes like it's made fresh daily. Delicious! Also had a Greek salad. Our seafood choices were steamed/sautéed scallops, shrimp with fried calamari and sardines. Staff are attentive and kind. The restaurant is much smaller in person but comfortable and clean. We can't wait to go back!

This was a very fun, fresh experience. There is no menu, so I kind of knew what I wanted when I came. The house salad is good because it's a fresh lemon dill dressing. I also ordered the fried calamari, which was fried and baby. This was fresh FRESH! The grilled shrimp we have the love and key to my heart. It was grilled and sautéed to the chef kiss. Also, order a grill octopus leg, which was okay. I felt it was a little overcooked. Then the sea bass was grilled so goooood. The flavors were si.ple but tasty as ever. Super fresh and flavorful. The place is small and during th dinner hours get pack and not much sitting or room for comfort. The soda in the glass bottle is my favorites so expect even great tasting soda also.

We were in the area and wanted to try the seafood. Basically fish market, select the seafood/fish you like and they will cook it (grill/fry/...) and select the side dishes. Absolutely delicious. The staff very friendly and courteous

Enjoyed some excellent seafood lunch with my wife in Astoria, everything was very fresh and cooked and seasoned so nicely. This restaurant has no menu. Once you're seated, you go up to the seafood display to see what's available, tell them what seafood you want, how much of each, and how to cook them (grilled, fried, baked, etc.), then you sit and wait for the delicious food to arrive. The staff was super friendly too. Highly recommended.

Zero Stars!!!Terrible Customer Service!!! The man who takes the orders by phone had the audacity to speak to my daughter in a very rude and disrespectful way! He also left me a voicemail which says a lot about him as the owner/ manager! Shameful!

My husband invited me out to dinner. I planned on going somewhere fancy, so when he brought me here, I was annoyed. This place was nothing fancy; it was small and plain. When we were seated by our server, he was swift and attentive, making sure we had everything we wanted. He stood close by throughout the dinner to keep the table in order. Now the food, the food, the food, They have fresh seafood on display for you to choose from depending on how you want it cooked. The food was amazing, just like I remembered it in Egypt.! My hands were everywhere, taking in all the flavors, even using two hands, not caring if anyone was watching. Astoria is full of places to eat; however, you do not want to skip this one. Don't underestimate the size and minimum decor; for something else, they make it up in the food 100 percent!

The tagine was sooo good! We had mixed mezas for the table, the mixed seafood tagine, bronzino, scallops, seafood soup and rice. Everything was delicious!

Still dreaming about this seafood!! Can't wait to go back. Everything is obviously very fresh and you get to choose the seafood and quantity you'd like. You then choose how you want each thing made. The service was great and we got plenty of guidance when choosing what we were getting. You then choose some sides and we got the rice and salad. I loved the salad. Everything was delicious. My favorites were definitely the grilled octopus and the scallops. The sauce on the octopus was amazing. We also got grilled shrimp, calamari tajine, and blackened Branzino. My only complaint is that the calamari was very chewy. Otherwise everything was great and I will be coming back.

A small, but packed seafood restaurant right on Steinway in the heart of Astoria. We were greeted upon opening the door and got to choose between the two available tables left. The waiter brought a brown paper table cover to set up our table while we walked up to the fresh seafood stall to order our dishes. Be aware: there is no menu and you order the seafood by pounds. All is good though because they cook the selected seafood and add delicious seasoning! They also have bread with hummus dip as well as a light, creamy seafood soup. I came here 5 years ago with my boyfriend and we came back recently for our anniversary. Food is very fresh and delicious! They do have a fridge with soda and water as well and a tiny bathroom. Can't wait to come back in a few years!
