Aliada is a FANTASTIC & AUTHENTIC Greek restaurant in ASTORIA! We had such an amazing dinner here tonight. We shared the saganaki and horiataki for appetizers and both were very good. The dinners were even better. We had the swordfish, moussaka, and soutzoukakia for our dinners. The swordfish was OUTSTANDING! It was a fresh, generous perfectly chargrilled. The next best dish was the soutzoykakia which was absolutely DELICIOUS! The moussaka was also delicious but my personal favorite was the swordfish! We had the fries for our side that were out of this world! We could not stop eating them! They were nice and thin and had a great seasoning. We were disappointed that they had only one dessert which was baklava, but it was the best baklava we ever had! It tasted fresh out the oven, and had a perfect amount of honey I highly recommend Aliada in Astoria!

It's been so long since I had a meal in a restaurant that really blew me away, where every dish was delicious. This was it.
Some of the best octopus I've had. Perfectly tender and beautiful delicate flavors to complement the fresh flavor. The dish with pasta, beschamel, and meat is similar to an Egyptian dish I love. This was the lightest version I've ever tasted! I could eat a trough of it.
My family and I walked in a late, and everyone was so hospitable and lovely towards us. The space is beautiful in a way that's simple and welcoming. It's clever, and it makes you feel happier to be there.
One of the best experiences I've had in a long time. I wish I lived closer to go more often. On top of everything, the prices are so reasonable that you can have a feast without bankrupting yourself.
There are no photos because we were enjoying ourselves too much to even think of pulling a phone out.

Had a blast here for dad’s 75th. Phenomenal food throughout — fish meze to meat to baklava. Service also top notch from impeccable hospitality of the manager, great guidance from the server and an incredibly attentive bus boy.
Will be back!

This was my first time at this restaurant, but I received excellent service. All the staff were lovely and friendly. Most importantly, the food here is very delicious.
The most incredible meal I’ve ever had in New York. Maybe in the world and I’ve travelled to quite a few places. Highly recommend the swordfish, greens, beets and lemon potatoes

The Fish Mezzes for 2 was outstanding. So much food! The tender octopus was the standout for me.
