Food and atmosphere were OK but our experience was ruined by the service. We only got 1 appetizer between two because we wanted to try on other places as well in the area. The server however made weird expression, asked us "are you sure?" and felt like didn't treat well. I am never coming back.

They used to have the best Gigantes Plaki (Baked Lima Beans) in Astoria but they tweaked the recipe. Now the dish is spicy! You maybe can add a little paprika to give it a smoky-sweet tang without being overtly spicy. Or even a little chili powder. But not a Mexican pepper ?️ which changes the flavor profile completely! It is just overpowering and you cannot taste anything else. Why ruin something that was already good? It’s a Greek dish, not Mexicain. Sadly, I do not like it as much as I used to. Also the portions are getting smaller (they fill the container 2/3 full) while the price keeps increasing. Just use a smaller container and fill to the top or charge us more.
