The protein options are savory and delicious, with popular dishes like the vermicelli noodle salad with catfish and the Beef Flank & Brisket Pho. The pho options are varied, including chicken, beef, and tofu, all priced at $16, which may be considered a bit steep, but the huge portion sizes make it worth it. Pho Astoria has the best beef stew pho, with a rich and deeply flavorful broth. The beef practically melted in your mouth. Appetizers are nice and hot when served. The place itself is nothing special, but the food speaks for everything. They do a great job of properly packaging takeout so you can easily assemble the soup at home.
