Overall a great coffee place. I always get a mocha, and have 2 mini donuts with it one vanilla crème and one hazelnut. i've also tried 2 of the croissant sandwiches one with prosciutto and the turkey one and both were great- the croissants themselves are really soft and buttery. even though i live a mile away i still walk here every week
A favorite spot for coffee! The staff are friendly and engaging, and although there is no indoor seating, the space is welcoming! There are a few outdoor seats for pretty weather, but a great place to come for a quick, solid coffee.
Balancero Astoria is easily in my top 3 coffee spots in the neighborhood. This little hole-in-the-wall, strictly to-go, serves up seriously good coffee – you can absolutely taste the quality difference. They also have pastries, but the coffee is the star. Be prepared for a line sometimes, which just goes to show how good it is. Yes, it's a bit pricier, but you're paying for exceptional quality.
