I did not like the drip coffee! It tasted old and weak and I poured it out as soon as I tasted it. Better step up, the word will get out!👎☕️

I just discovered this amazing coffee place not long ago. I’ve been trying a lot of coffee spots in the area, and this one is honestly the best. Not just because of their quality coffee and tasty focaccias, but also because of how friendly everyone is. Gabriela and her sister are super sweet and skilled baristas—same with the owners and staff next door. They always check on you and make sure the place stays clean and homey. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love starting my mornings here. One of the best deals when it comes to getting a small sandwich and a cold brew. The staff is always super friendly and the aesthetic is immaculate.

Cozy atmosphere and comfy vibe. Service is great. The food is a bit lacking, but I would give it another shot in the future. The espresso is your standard Esse brand Italian style coffee reminiscent of an Autogrill, but feels a bit out of place here. Otherwise, they use a nice Faema espresso machine and the shots are pulled right. Overall, I'm somewhat bummed that the place doesn't quite match the level of its bigger brother next door, Bar Parioli, but I'm optimistic to try it again at a later point.

The ambiance at Cafe Parioli is definitely the highlight — cozy vibes, a cute interior, and a nice spot to relax or catch up with a friend. Unfortunately, the coffee really missed the mark for me. It tasted weak and lacked depth, which was disappointing given the inviting atmosphere. If you’re looking for a chill place to hang out, it’s worth a visit, but if great coffee is your priority, you might want to try somewhere else.

Atrocious coffee. Only people who don't have a good contemporary taste in espresso based drinks would rate this place highly. Bad taste, poor preparation with a thick plop of foam on top.

One of the worst tasting coffees I’ve had in my 38 years of living in astoria. The sandwich? My god what a rip off. Stale, cold brioche. Wilted arugula, one piece of prosciutto and plastic looking Parmesan. What a rip off. How dare you open a place like this in astoria with all the culture around you.

I went for the first time this morning. a very nice cafe and the quality of the coffee is superb. I'm Italian and drinking a really well made espresso is hard to find in nyc. very good pastries and sandwiches especially the egg salad sandwich, huge and very tasty.

Great new cafe off to a great start with tasty pastries and tasty espresso.

We had a slightly odd experience when we went here. The music was off when we entered and the tables and chairs were a bit all over the place. We had ordered a croissant with cream, the barista said the cream was out and they only have nutella and pistacchio, so we asked for the pistachio, a decaf coffee and a double espresso and sat down.

After we sat down, someone different brought a pistachio bombolone, we tried to tell them that we had asked for the pistachio croissant but they didn't understand. It was delicious so it was impossible to be upset. Though immediately after, someone else came in and ordered a croissant and got the cream filled croissant (The one we originally wanted), even though they had told us they were out 😂. So it was just a big miscommunication i think, I'm still very excited to come back for the cream croissant!

The espresso was very tasty, I would love to have it in a ceramic espresso cup next time.

My partner ordered a decaf coffee, she had forgotten to ask for milk initially. After it arrived, she asked for cream and they said they were out. She was a bit disappointed, but then she asked if they had milk which they said yes. It probably would have made sense to offer milk as an alternative suggestion initially, or inquiring about milk when she ordered if it isn't out on the counter. The decaf ended up being very clear and weak and we didn't end up drinking it.

Overall Im really excited about this spot. The pastries looked (and tasted) insane and the espresso was tasty. There were a few quirks on our first visit, but they're still getting the hang of things. Keep up the good work!
