Cakes by Nerwan is amazing! They made a custom cake for my husband’s 50th birthday, and it was absolute perfection. He wanted a Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre cake (yes, really!), and after I sent a few examples, they said they could do it — and they nailed it. The design was spot on, and all of our Shakespeare friends instantly recognized it and thought it was incredible. It ended up being the perfect centerpiece and talking point for the whole party.

Always passed by this beautiful bakery and never stopped in. I wanted to try a few things, and with summer ending, I had to try the guava tres leches, and then grabbed a Samoa cupcake. I LOVED the guava tres leches, it came in a super cute pink tin. The Samoa cupcake was also very too, will be back to try more things. Friendly service and super cute bakery!

All the reviews about Nerwan were outstanding - I ordered a birthday cake for my son & had it delivered. The communication was excellent from the order to delivery. And, my son raved about the cake - absolutely delicious. I’ll be sure to stop in the next time I’m in Astoria.
