This quaint tiny restaurant has authentic burek. The server was honest about the time it would take to deliver the food we wanted to order and therefore we were able to change our order to accommodate our schedule. We experienced a very clean environment nice atmosphere (although florescent light are a vibe kill) and delicious food. Not fancy but wholesome. Thanks for a healthy portion!

Wow wow wow wow wow! This is the REAL DEAL Bosnian food. Our Cevapi (incredible Ajvar), Shropska Salad and Begova / Bey Soup brought back many fond memories of Sarajevo. Just delicious! Friendly, helpful service!

My food never arrived. I waited for an hour and a half and when I called they were dismissive, they just said the delivery person never picked it up and they aren't responsible for that. No call, no text, no notification. If this sorry excuse for a restaurant wants to remain in business, they need to stop hiring retards who can't do their job.

I drove 2 and a half hours to get to this place. As I was driving I called and placed the order 2 meat pies and some other stuff. When I get there the lady in front only gives me one. I told her I ordered 2, she said i did not hear 2. I heard 1. I said how long it takes to make another one? She said 30min. I sad nvm just give me the one pie. Her customer service skills need improvement. Turns but the byrek was not even worth the drive. Very crispy and greesy. I did not like the byrek at all. I don’t live in NY, we only come here for the food but this time we wanted to try this one place. I will never visit this place again. I will stick the Bronx one. Tony and Tina’s is the best.

I love Djerdan. Their meat burek is great; super crisp and flaky, and their cevapi is delicious. I do not understand how something so simple can consistently be so good. Yogurt drink puts the many ayrans of Steinway St. to shame!

The food is characteristic of the Muslim population, the service, the atmosphere is top notch. But I can eat beans only on a fasting day or with pork ribs. There is no experimentation here. Where can I have beans on veal meat? Sopska with goat cheese? etc.
