The friends I went with what they ordered tasted good. What i ordered lacked taste by itself. You would think a dish called spicy shredded chicken would have more flavor.
My lo mein tasted and smelled like cleaner fluid.
Fast classic American Chinese food. Not the best food has ever tasted, but you're going here for a solid and consistently good fast meal at a good price with nice staff. Good tofu. Eggplant was a little under-seasoned but makes great leftovers to mix into rice
Nice clean place. Fast service and friendly
Moving from downtown i missed my chinese take out. Googled places in astoria and came up golden dragon. By fair the tastiest Chinese food in astoria, and maybe the tastiest i have ever had. Their shrimp is so sweet, I've had mostly every dish.
general tso's chicken and fried Rice was great!
Chicken and broccoli was great but egg rolls not so much

They also accept card if you don’t have cash on you, like me! I never like having cash on hand so this place is very convenient for me thank you guys for being very respectful

The food is bland and overpriced for what it is. We've ordered multiple dishes a few times to give them a chance and it constantly disappoints. The prices are typical but the food. Mm the chow. Mein in particular tastes like someone in highschool tried to make Chinese food from a recipe they googled. The black bean beef has a few beans added but tastes like nothing... The general tsao chicken was ok.

Love, love, love this place! Been going here since I was a kid and their food has been on point every time. The General Tsos, Chicken Lo Mein, Pork Fried rice, and Chicken Egg Fu Young are my favorites. Services is friendly and prompt.
