The hype is real! What a sandwich. Don’t consider getting anything but The Bomb. So many flavours, well constructed and delicious. For sure, one of the all-time greatest sandwiches. Eating it under the elevated train track with church bells ringing, made it feel perfectly NYC.

My wife and I visited NYC this week and our first stop after leaving the airport was to Sal, Kris, & Charlie’s. It was well worth the stop. We took the locals suggestion and ordered ‘the bomb’ with everything on it. The sandwich was huge, stuffed with meat and toppings. Super delicious and enough to feed both of us. Highly recommend going out of the way try this place!

What are all these people talking about? Worst sa dwich I ha e ever had. Couldn't eat. Threw it right in the garbage. Extremely dry bread, barely any mayo and old lettuce. Do not bother.

I drove 2 hours round trip to try this deli and I wasn’t disappointed. If you’re looking for a great authentic sub sandwich, Sal Kris & Charlie’s will not fall short. Ordering pickup online with no service charges couldn’t have been easier. Pickup was easy and the sandwich I ordered, The Bomb, was an explosive delight. Probably about a 15 inch long piece of Italian bread loaded with a variety of meats, cheeses, peppers, tomatoes etc. And it was delicious! Though this sandwich is currently selling for $25 it easily serves 4 making it $6.25/ serving… a great deal. Because of NYC traffic and parking I highly recommend you get here and pickup by 8am and nearby parking will be available. Weekends are probably best. Nothing else to say except… “Mangia”
Parking: Get here before 8am on weekends and you shouldn’t have a problem
