The coffee đ¤˘
Those quesadilla tacos are amazing make sure you ask for the green sauce.
fell inlove with st james quesadillas from the moment I tried it ! The chicken quesadilla are my go to order, I love the crunchiness of the hard shell with cheese on the bottom, their signature green sauce is out of this world and is what makes the place so great. I would recommend to call and pick up your order since Its located inside a deli which sometimes can get packed and feel a bit overwhelming. Definitely recommend if you are around the area and in the mood for some quesadillas !

I live close by and have gotten take out a few times. Like others, I really dig their âquesadillasâ (really hard shell tacos with cheese on the bottom). I also like their various breakfast platters (see picture). The arbol salsa is also spectacularâŚ
HoweverâŚsome things here are not spectacular. As others have noted, their regular tacos are lackluster in no small part due to the piles of shredded iceburg lettuce they throw on top. Also some of the meats are kind of gross. Both the Al Pastor and chicken tacos were much wetter/sloppier than expected, tasted low quality, were in huge chunks, and had no evidence of being warmed up on a grill or flattop. Iâve had much better luck with just beans, chorizo and potato, and chicken tingaâ-so I would recommend sticking to fillings where grilled meat is not the star (no chicken, no pastor, no steak, etc.)

The food was poorly made with no care , inedible. Service seemed sketchy with some neighborhood issues they have going on. Would not recommend. Also, Very over priced.

Veggie burrito was rice and lettuce and nachos came with sliced cheese. Very disappointed
Seemed good but leaving the seed in the guac 𼲠damn
And then the nachos made with some kid of sliced cheese def not worth the money
The nachos were mostly chips and a guac with a whole seed for $25 disappointing

Most of the five-star reviews are pre-Covid. Now this place is just a rip off with low quality food. Three tacos with barely any dried out meat on them for $15. It's nuts.

IYKYK! If youâre from Queens you know ST. JAMES & Taco Deli Spot for those that donât. ST JAMES is known as a deli spot that cooks Mexican food but more than anything their CHICKEN QUESADILLAS are ICONIC with the green sauce. $4/ each & you really canât go wrong. Sometimes it is EXTREMELY BUSY so calling ahead can be a time saver. Or their sister spot is Taco deli spot which is a couple blocks down as well!
