Super mid ramen. Nothing wrong with it but nothing good to say about it either. Just average at best.

This is an amazing restaurant with great pricing. Their miso ramen is really flavorful and the ramen was cooked perfectly with a perfect chew. The egg has a creamy yoke, and I really like how they charred the chasu to enhance the flavour. I've been to so many other restaurants that don't do this and the char just adds a nice touch. The food came out really quick too and the service was really speedy. As soon as I started eating they took away our trash and wrappers and while we were eating they topped up our water when it was half empty. The restaurant is well designed too and fits the vibe of the food they serve.

Great soulful experience.

If you’re actually Japanese or know good ramen, you’re more than likely going to be very disappointed by this spot.

The miso ramen tasted like the got the box of miso from the supermarket and boiled some water and tossed in some frozen noodles. The karaage was also a little strange, I’d say it was more like chicken nuggets. The yuzu sauce was very good though.

You know it’s not authentic when they label the shichimi as “ichimi.”

The servers were nice and the atmosphere is cool, but if you’re going for the food, I’d definitely say no.

Honestly I've had better ramen but it's still good ramen and the service is good, for the price point and convenience I have no complaints

This ramen spot was such a great find! We ordered the ramen, donburi, seaweed salad, and daikon—and everything was seriously delicious.

The ramen broth was complex and aromatic in the best way—rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The donburi was just as impressive, with tender, well-seasoned meat and the perfect egg on top. The seaweed salad and daikon were fresh, light, and balanced out the richness of the other dishes perfectly.

The space is small and cozy, but that only adds to its charm. It’s the kind of place you can pop into for a satisfying, no-fuss meal that hits the spot. Highly recommend if you’re craving quality comfort food!

This is a great spot for Japanese food, the ramen here is great, simple and authentic. However, if there's anything I can say really stands out here, its their donburi. I've had the karaage don and the tabe rayu don and the these, especially the tabe rayu don are insanely well made. Honestly I'd come here just for the tabe rayu don, its really that good, the only downside is the don bowls are on the smaller side but they're very affordable dishes so it makes up for it. Their food is fresh and the customer service is good, staff is polite. If youre lookin for a good Japanese spot that's affordable, this is the spot.

Very good vegan ramen, HUGE bowl and I feel guilty wasting some 🥲 I got the Veggie Miso. The waitress easily confirmed it’s vegan without the egg. $13~ for the giant bowl at lunch Updated from previous review on 2025-02-07

Local ramen spot in Astoria, this is the spot. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. The food was overall great, with the ramen broth being less salty than I remember last which was a nice touch. Definitely go for the classic for those who enjoy pork, the katsu was so soft and fluffy. The karage was crispy and juicy and the tako was as expected. Will be back to try other items soon!

The miso broth is actually phenomenal. It has the perfect full body, flavorful without feeling 'salty' or overpowering. Literally PERFECT. By contrast, the noodles where bland, and tastelss. I only ate half as I was hungry. Toppings are good but egg doesn't seem traditional style. Priced perfectly reasonable. If miso lasted longer in the fridge I would of heat yp soba noodles to have it with instead on another day! Photo is of the bottom of the broth container. Is that meat?? (I hope so!)"3.5 stars for now but their menu looks promising.

Had dinner with the family of four on a Sunday evening. Waiting time was 20 minutes until a suitable table was available for us. We ordered miso ramen and spicy Kara miso ramen. The portions are huge. We ate half of it. The leftovers were carefully packed for us to take away. The atmosphere was wonderful, we will come back again
