Located right in the center of busy Austin Street, this gem was a great choice for delicious and filling ramen at very affordable prices. Before you enter, you'll find yourself staring at the wooden, cozy storefront that screams "comfort food". To start off, we had the kara-age and takoyaki which were good with a drizzle of lemon. However, the main star was my kara miso ramen with pork, which had a hearty miso soup base with a dab of spice sauce. There are also non-pork options such as the seafood yaki bowl, which my friend had. Despite the full house on a friday evening, the service was great and very attentive. We left with a full stomach and a warm soul. Highly recommend :)

Plesantly surprised with this takeout order. I realized it was my first time ordering ramen via take out so once I assembled my Kara Veggie ramen and gave it some time to sit, the flavors and textures were bursting out spicy, rich, delicious. I also got the shrimp bao which was very good though I wasn't expecting shrimp tempura. Overall very good and will definitley order from there again

Yummy ramen, the veggie spicy miso ramen was super delicious. We got it with the thick chewey hirauchi noodles. Service was wonderful and the environment is clean and cozy. Will come back again

Decent ramen for the price point at lunch, it’ll definitely hit the spot for anyone craving for ramen. Well cooked noodles and the broth (in the style of tonkotsu)was well made with a well developed richness and balance, service was very prompt and food came very quickly.

I went to Tamashii Ramen on a cold winter day, and I left happy, full, and satisfied. Their ramen packs a punch when it comes to flavor. I had the Buta ramen and pork buns. The pork buns had tasty pork belly and a soft bun. The ramen came in a large portion with rich, savory pork broth and lots of toppings. I thought the food was stellar but on top of it, the atmosphere was cozy and cute. I'll definitely be heading there again, regardless of the weather.

Cycling through and saw this on my radar. Decided to give it a try since this neighborhood has undergone gentrification.The venue is chic & cozy. Sat comfortably and was served a nice cup of hot tea.I went with the spicy seafood ramen. The flavor was tantalizing & the noodles were hearty.Good recommendation by the server. This famished cyclist could’ve eaten more. The noodle portion was a bit on the small side.Lots of alcoholic beverages to choose from. Overall a good spot for date night ?

Got the miso ramen to go, and was pleasantly surprised...considering that it was takeout. This is my second ramen place in NY, and my favorite so far. Broth was incredible! Noodles were cooked well. Egg was soft boiled and chashu was nice and tender. I'll come through in person next time
My family love this restaurant. During winter, expect a long time waiting especially at night. They don't do any reservations in advance, need the whole pack to be there. Eat and go, people waiting so be considerate.

I have been eating here for years, and I have tried many other places around the neighborhood,but Tamashi Ramen makes the best ramen in Astoria! The food is amazing, and the miso ramen is my favorite. They also make a delicious gyosa and have a great sake selection and the service is amazing.
