The Gully NYC has been an experience?.The spices are rich and the right temperatures for the bites, drinks and meals. Mango Lassi, puris and the butter chicken it was.This place got my attention to come back a couple of times to experience the rest of the kitchen.
Came in the other day with my friend for my birthday dinner and the food did not disappoint. It was a Saturday night and it was pretty busy but our server Stephanie was very nice and attentive through out service. Food is a must try and the decor is very inviting and fun.
Fusion restaurant indeed. Almost everything with a twist. We tried Guac Dahi Puri, Chicken Tikka Kati Roll, Chicken Tikka Mac & Cheese, Calamari Tempura Chaat and Rasmalai Tres Leches for dessert. The Guac Dahi Puri was pre-made and dense with yogurt and guac so got soggy. Rasmalai Tres Leches was fantastic. We skipped main course dishes cause we wanted to try several of the unique appetizer dishes and the verdict: good food. I won't go as far as saying Wow food but good...
