Toast & Roast Bagels and Coffee

Really good spot for breakfast, it’s become my go to when I’m in Astoria. They make a pretty good greek frappe as well. I will say that the menu is pricey but the quality is definitely there.

Is so sad to see a nice place with such a good food having such a poor service. The guys in the front is never helpful, never trying to serve, bad mood and temper. So sad.

The food was terrible. I ordered a Spartan Omelet and what a surprise I was when I got it. It was served cold and it had no taste whatsoever. The cheese was on the bottom of the Omelet and they threw in a few slices of avocados on top. I asked for home fries and I got soggy hash browns instead. Also there was no effort on their part to present a nice looking Omelet platter especially for the price they charge. I will not be returning any time soon.

When you walk in your not greeted, the guys there looked miserable, I ordered a pumpkin latte with almond milk and a hot chocolate with soy and caught him trying to make it with whole milk...after we paid and left the pumpkin latte tasted horrible and left a Metallic aftertaste so I threw it out.

Not real French toast.
Not challah bread.
I see some places doing this to cut cost and short customers.
Always hit or miss when ordering it.

Food is amazing by hours definitely wrong I showed up last Monday at 5:30AM and the guy working said if I wanted to eat anything I would have to wait till 6am, I don’t understand the point of being open and telling me if I want to eat I have to wait 30 minutes. Besides that I’m very been here before and I recommend their food.

Bagel egg sandwhich was delicious!
Staff was friendly and quick.
Small sitting area in the back but they also have seating outside. Kid friendly.

Had breakfast here several times during our holiday, great experience. Good service, good food and great prices, while as a tourist you really feel like you are in New York instead of some overpriced tourist hole.

Their whole wheat everything bagel with only butter is the only food I think I will miss from the US. Recommended!

Really tasty breakfast sandwich.

Service was really quick, and their Nutella ice coffee could have been colder. Very clean and many options for quick bites. Definitely would try other items there.
