Food was amazing!!!! The complementary eggplant was great with the bread!! Server was super nice and attentive. I don’t know why the restaurant was so empty because it was so good :)

Went in for dinner for two yesterday and this has become our new favorite date night spot. As soon as you walk in, you get greeted by the friendliest staff and owner. My boyfriend and I decided to both sit on the booth next to each other and the owner without even hesitation moved around the tables to make sure we're comfy! (don't worry, there were plenty of other seats around)
Then we asked what their best thing on the menu, we were recommended the sirloin with onion & mushroom + penne rigatoni. My partner wanted medium rare but I had to get medium well so we decided to get medium well but to our surprise when the food came out they cooked the streak to two different temperature for us!!!
I was so touched by this kind gesture and the extra step of hospitality they took to accomodate us. The steak was truly the best i've had in a while, extremely tender and the pasta was perfectly al dante with the sauce perfectly adhered to the pasta.
Thank you for such fabulous time. I can't wait to visit again soon!

Wow probably the best Italian restaurant in Astoria in terms of quality and portions. The fairest prices and the freshest food. Their minestrone soup is phenomenal, chicken franchese incredible, and they send all take out orders with bread (soooooo fresh and soft) as well as a little almond cookie!

ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE – SHOCKINGLY RUDE MANAGEMENT
This restaurant ruined my mom’s 60th birthday. We had a confirmed reservation, showed up on time, and were told—without warning—that they were closed for a private party. No call, no message, no attempt to notify us. After checking other reviews, it’s clear this is a pattern, not a one-time mistake.
The woman claiming to be the manager (quietly gave the name “Lydia”) delivered the news with one of the rudest attitudes I’ve ever encountered. Her exact response was, “Your reservation is not our responsibility.” No apology, no accountability, no effort to help—just complete indifference. She genuinely did not care that this was a milestone celebration.
This level of disrespect, disorganization, and lack of basic professionalism is astounding. Any restaurant that treats customers this way does not deserve your time or money.
I strongly warn anyone considering this place: do not trust their reservations, their management, or their customer service

We traveled to get here ..a reservation we made a while ago..and when we showed up there was a private party and they said they canceled all reservations....however we were never notified. Very unprofessional and unfortunate for us wasting all our time. Oh well!
