Not very happy with the service. Very slow considering there were very few customers. Waited about 15 mins for drinks and about 30 mins for appetizer. I would understand if place was packed out but about only 4 tables were being waited including mine. Appetizer was good, great flavor and place looks very nice. Will try again soon, hopefully its better and that was just an off beat night (which can happen)

Had the grilled octopus and that was cooked nice. They should soak the red onions in water and vinegar to take out the bitterness from the onion. My steak and mashed potatoes came out cold, steak wasn't cooked as I ordered it.

Me and my friends went to tru Astoria for brunch today the weather was amazing and so was the service the blond server I think her name was Ashley she was so sweet and fun we had so many laughs she also gave us great recommendations and I have to say the steak and eggs were BOMB! Bottomless is definitely the way to go to 😉Come visit tru astoria and ask for brunch!!

Made a 7:00 reservation for a dinner w friends. When we arrived, we were told we had an hour and a half for dinner as they had a party starting at 8:45. We told the hostess that they should have either told us or not accepted our reservation. She said not to worry. At 8:00, the servers started rushing us and by 8:15, they started setting up around us. This was not acceptable and really unfortunate as the food was exceptional. All they had to do was move us or buy us a round of drinks or dessert. This all could have been dealt with so easily but no. Oh well...
Went here with my boyfriend for Valentine's day after reading other great reviews - Our waitress was outstanding and attentive, A+. The restaurant was nicely decorated , really making it feel like Valentine's day. We both ordered the Surf & Turf which was excellent, I really enjoyed all the food. Steak and Lobster were both cooked perfectly (Medium rare on the steak of course). Sat at a high top table by a window. It was a fun and romantic night! Thank you!
