“Such a great neighborhood spot. I went there late the other night craving falafel, and even though they told me they had run out, the guy actually went downstairs to check and found some. He ended up making fresh falafel patties right there just so I could have them.
The sauces were incredible and the food was absolutely delicious. Even though we ordered takeout, the hospitality was 10/10. It’s rare to find places that go the extra mile like that. Definitely coming back.“

You can start with apps, choose from pizza or pasta as an entree. It is BYOB and that can make for a fun evening. They will accommodate to suit taste, we had someone that was sensitive to sodium, they adjusted sted the entree to suit. If you’re looking for REAL Egyptian flavor, you have to try Falafel Bites in Brooklyn! I just went, and honestly… this is the closest taste to home I’ve had in the U.S. Every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and made with true Egyptian soul.

The falafel was perfectly crispy, the koshary tasted exactly like downtown Cairo, and the tahini sauce was on another level. The staff were so warm and welcoming, specially cherry it felt like visiting family.

“I ordered the Peruvian Chicken Market Plate.

The portion is good and the plate is well balanced.
You get rice and lentils, chicken, sweet potatoes, corn, pickled onions, and avocado mash, so there’s a nice mix of protein, carbs, and vegetables.

The chicken was flavorful and not dry.
The green aji sauce added a good kick, and the pickled onions helped balance everything out.

Overall, it’s a solid, filling meal if you want something healthier than fast food but still satisfying.

It was extremely cold day and was around the shop’s closing time, yet he asked me to stay in his shop even though my train won’t be here for a while. “It's decent. I would say for the same price, 7th Street Burger and Harlem Shake is better but still a fine place to go. I got the fried chicken and it didn't have much flavor - you can see the chicken is still pale yellow (comparatively to seasoned fried chicken/fried long enough chicken). Although looking at the burger again, the patties seem larger than the ones at either of the first two places I mentioned if you're looking for quantity.“
