Best Indian food we’ve had in Astoria! We came for dinner and got the samosa trio (all three were delicious), lamb joshrogan, and chicken korma. We recommend all. The staff was super friendly and very welcoming to our messy child. And the prices are great!

Went here for the lunch buffet and it did not disappoint. The buffet had salad, a variety of entrees, vegetarian and meat dishes. There was rice and some huge samosas. Plus even a rice pudding for dessert. They bring naan to your table as well. Their is tamarind and chutneys for topping. One of the best Indian buffets I've ate at. The okra was delicious and I loved the chana masala. For partaking in the buffet we still were attended to well and our water was often refilled.
Vegetarian options: Chana masala, palak paneer and many more dishes
Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian section with some dishes that are vegan

Ordered for pickup today and after trying the food, I’m surprised it was slow when I came in. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and I think it’s the best one I’ve had so far. Most places just throw in a bunch of spice and you can only taste heat and not enough flavor. With Yaar, the flavor was amazing for this dish, savory with a perfect blend of heat mixed in but I wouldn’t say it’s considered spicy which is perfect for me since I prefer chicken tikka masala over butter chicken which is known to be a bit more spicier. It’s very flavorful and you can taste the spices and even cilantro pieces mixed in. The chicken itself is also cooked and seasoned well. Will definitely be ordering here again!

Haven’t been to this place to dine in since before Covid & it’s very good! The food is delicious, fresh. I’m very happy this restaurant is still around. There are no other Indian restaurants nearby and this restaurant is excellent!

Best sesame naan in town. It was so soft and buttery. The chicken chili was tender and rightly spiced. The gravy goes well with naan. Can’t wait to try other naans.

The saag paneer didn’t have the write flavour even though the ingredients it’s self were decent, for example the paneer was fresh and soft. Seva, an Indian restaurant close by has better flavours, is cheaper AND provide more quantity!

Went on a Sunday evening, place was empty, menu was very limited. Ordered Keema Naan and aloo paratha with butter chicken, but was served aloo paratha and plain naan, when we asked them they apologized and then got us keema naan. Naan and paratha were good but butter chicken was a bit bland. Liked the keema Naan but menu was too disappointing. An average place. People come more for take outs it looks like. Was expecting something like the New Jersey Indian restaurants but this wasn’t on par with that. The naan and paratha was served hot and was good though. Location average
The service was warm and hospitable and the food was delicious.
