Wow, as soon as I walked on the door I was greeted with a smile and warm welcome. Was explained the food options and treated with respect. The Gyro of course was amazing and out door seating on a beautiful brisk sunny fall day made it all that better. Strongly recommend coming here.

Went in for lunch with my wife for a diner fix(since diners have become obsolete in astoria) and the place did not disappoint. Sat out in the backyard and ordered my traditional cheeseburger deluxe(diner staple). Wife ordered a chicken souvlaki with lemon potatoes and both hit the spot!! Definitely coming back and trying their breakfast options.

The quality of the food has gone down quite a bit. The meals used to be hearty and tasty. For example, the beef platter dishes were prepared wonderfully and the fries were different....now the fries are different. Whatever the reason, something has definitely changed..

Back a year later and the lamb is so scrumptious with hints of charcoal. The lemon butter potatoes are to die for. AC was blasting nicely!!
Astoria is known for its amazing Greek food restaurants and with that being said, this one was not the case. Although the service was above average, and waiter was super friendly, the food didn’t do justice. We had lunch on a Sunday afternoon, I don’t know if the kitchen was having a rough day but honestly food wasn’t tasty at all. I almost didn’t finish my order and I was hungry as a bear.

This place is an underrated gem. The food was delicious, from appetizers to entrees to desserts. The staff are amazing and friendly. They went above and beyond accommodating both my husband's wheelchair and our little dog at their outdoor tables. I appreciate that the tables were next to the restaurant and not in the street, and they were shaded from the sun.
I forgot to take photos of the food, so here's two photos of our dog. He has a mat for sitting outside, which I put down next to me. Then he moved it under the table to people watch - he's a country dog a bit overwhelmed by the city and appreciated the set-up at Zorba's.

What a great Greek restaurant! Delicious food, reasonable prices, good portions, friendly service. I ate dinner outdoors on a beautiful night with my toddler and husband and had a great experience. Will be back to try their brunch.
