Just had the most amazing impromptu experience! A quick but delicious dinner in their formal dinner where the decor was stunning to say the least. The food, the presentation, the service were all outstanding! The three of us could not have enjoyed the evening anymore than we did. A million thanks yous to the staff and ownership!!
I love eating at this beautiful tavern that has gorgeous hand painted murals on all the walls. Their fish and chips are the best I've had anywhere. Their oysters are amazing, hopefully they will bring back the pear puree. Once they even had garlic free oyster stew that was better than anything I've had even at the shore. The entire staff was gracious and welcoming.
Excellent food, great service, nice atmosphere. Very reasonable prices.

Stewart House River Garden is a warm, cozy, and not too serious waterfront gem with stunning views of the Hudson. The venue, service, and food are all very good, with live music that is enjoyable and not too loud. The burger and the pork chop are not to be missed, and the fish and chips is perfectly crispy with addictive fries. The burrata appetizer changes up regularly but is always delicious, and the Waygu Hot Dog with Chile is scrumptious and filling. The cocktails are always right on point, and a craft beer pairs perfectly with the comfort food. Everyone there is lovely, friendly, and accommodating. This restored hotel restaurant is a charming, quirky type of place with a reasonable selection on the menu. The service is outstanding, and the Stewart House makes any evening extra special.
