This is the epitome of your local townie bar, in all the best ways. I was up here for a couple days over Memorial Day and happened to pass this place on the way to get charcoal on Ausable's main drag. I figured I'd stop in and have a beverage, and when I walked in, I was amazed to see they had a full size shuffleboard table with working (albeit old) scoreboard. Joy! If you're even within a 30 mile radius of this place and do not stop in, thats a crime. This place is out of those old time-y movies about what small-town america is like, but all the good parts. Aka, good drinks, good prices, and most importantly, really welcoming and warm people behind the bar as well as sitting at the bar!
