Sunset Restaurant Reviews
We don’t live in Auburn so have only eaten here a couple of times, but each time the meal was acceptable, although not outstanding. It appears to be a real hometown favorite among the locals.
We stopped for a late lunch recently. They offer a very large selection of lunch items, plus several daily specials. Sean was our waiter and he was very friendly and quick with our orders. An antipasto salad was very generous and could have easily fed at least two people. The haddock fish sandwich was served with potato chips, but was over cooked and dried out. Wish I had ordered something else, but I would give The Sunset another try.
Never had a bad meal here. Portions are huge even for kids so you can split one order of pasta between two kids. Love the house salad dressing and they have good coffee and desserts as well My only complaint is that the male bartender made me the worst dirty martini ever. Short glass, a couple olives, nothing 'dirty'. Not a hard drink to make.
