It is a lovely setting with nice ambiance. However, the food quality is not consistent. I had nicely cooked short rib on a flavorless brick of polenta. The Cesar broccolini appetizer was delicious. The fruit crumble had no crumble on it - was merely warm fruit.
Six of us dined together and every one of us had an outstanding meal. The portion sizes were perfect, the food was fresh and beautifully prepared, and everything was delicious. Deb, our server, was both professional and fun. We would return in a heartbeat!
We went to the Aurora Inn for a birthday breakfast. The Inn itself is full of historyand has such a nice, inviting restaurant with a great view of the lake. We ordered a mimosa and then perused the menu. It was hard to decide what to order. I ordered the creme brulee french toast and my husband ordered the classic breakfast. The food was wonderfully presented and everything tasted delicious! Our server Reilly was very welcoming and answered all of our questions about the menu...
