Without a doubt the closest cooking to remind me of home. Catfish and Shrimp pivots was amazing. Crawfish Etoufee, chicken and sausage gumbo and chicken sausage and shrimp jambalaya was spot on. I will be back to shoot a video of the location and food for my Vlog without a doubt. Was a good feeling to here the chef ask if “The Boot was in the house” being from LA it made me feel like it was home.
Anything Joe creates is outstanding! Hands down the best Cajun Chef on Long Island. I live in West Islip and go there with my helper Glenn anytime I'm working any town close to Oceanside and made a few trips from home. His shrimp & grits with debris, jambalaya, pork panini and cod fish po'boy are at the top and his ever changing daily special's rock too like Cajun meatball po'boy, ribeye steak, short ribs and Chipotle sweet potato soup to name a few are delicious.
