Just drove past the place not sure it's even open ?

The carnitas tacos were pretty good but the “steak” burrito was terrible. I tried to have an open mind after living in New Mexico for 8 years but this just doesn’t come close. No fresh in house chips here and I’m pretty sure this “Mexican” restaurant is inside a diner.

Really authentic mexican food that'll satisfy anyone's cravings. Service is great and prices are affordable!

They moved to Saratoga. Not great. Chicken in chicken enchiladas and quesadillas tasted like pieces of a rotisserie chicken from Market 32. Only flavor was from the extremely spicy green sauce. My husbands burrito was not good either. Best Mexican food in Saratoga is Mexican Connection by far. Wish they would deliver.

Ordered the Mole Chicken dinner. Consisted of one tiny Chicken thigh and a boatload of Mole sauce. Barely any rice or beans. The chicken was tender and the Mole sauce good, although spicier than any other I have had. Came with three tortillas and nothing else. Took about 15-20 minutes. There was so little food I heated up some left over chicken and used up the rest of the sauce to at least make it a meal. This is complete ripoff for $15. One small chicken thigh is not a meal by any means and the measly amount of sides didn't help. The place looked kind of dark and small inside, but seemed clean.

UPDATE: After shutting down in the fall of 2020, El Cilantro is has a NEW LOCATION in Saratoga Springs. They are open Tuesdays-Saturdays, 4:00-8:00, serving food out of the Shirley's Restaurant kitchen (74 West Ave). It's the same menu as always! Go visit them!

Blech!!!!!! All I hav to say they served potato chips with my enchiladas and the "waiter" didn't know anything on the menu. Food was gross and sad

ordered from them a year ago and the delivery never showed up... was in the mood for Mexican and ordered again tonight and nothing, no phone answer , nothing.. its a shame i probably would have ordered a lot if it was good. if you feel like ordering food at 4 pm and not getting any (from another more expensive restaurant) till after 8.. hit these guys up.. no idea how they still have the ability to take orders... does anyone get their food?

This place has the best soup I've ever had! Really nice ambiance for where it's located. Love that the food is authentic and delicious!

Incredibly delicious with fresh ingredients. The real thing. I think they even soak dry beans overnight, rather than get them from a can, because the beans literally melt in your mouth. Well worth looking for. I love the decor too, would buy the tablecloths and decorations if I could - check out the ceiling fan.

Excellent enchiladas verde, excellent guacamole. My son likes their beef tongue tacos. The restaurant interior is not too comfortable, but this is a great place for takeout.

Found this place by accident but so glad I did! Very deceiving. Small little cafe that hands out a Big Bang for your buck . After I saw Menudo on the menu we had to go try. You can see the minute you walk in it's family operated. Kids watching RV and playing with their toys. We ordered the beef tongue taco. Delicious. Then the menudo ! Oh my so good. I added their own hot sauce. He said it was mild and I will say perfect. They served hot chips and salsa when we sat down. We both had the Mexican steak. Even though I love my steak rare this was good. So full ! Took plenty home. Also ordered a steak burrito to go, and more MENUDO ! My daughter loved it!

The price for quality and taste isn't worth it but maybe I'm biased where I was raised with favorable good quality restaurants back in IL.

It's got the best tacos I've had outside of NYC! El Cilantro is the best! I can crush their tacos all day. Their tortillas are homemade, which is the way to go when available. I love their tlayuda, and the beans and rice are full of flavor. The tres leche is a bit pricey for a slice of cake, but well worth it! My only down comment would be that they used to have chivo (goat) but don't carry it anymore. Love that place!!!?
