Taverna Novo Reviews
We arrived at 4:40, place was empty except for 2 tables. We were asked if we had a reservation which we did not and did not think we would need to have one on a Sunday off season. We were told they could seat us but that we had to be out of the restaurant by 6:30 pm because that was when all their reservations were coming in…shocking.. like the place was empty and remained empty through out our mediocre dinner. At 6:20 we were asked to leave when 4 people came into the still...read full review
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with an incredible meal and impeccable service. Our waiter, Jason was extremely helpful and attentive. We felt welcome and comfortable. We absolutely recommend this fine establishment, and can't wait to return ourselves.
terrible service all around, mistakes at every stage of the meal, and not customer friendly

Taverna Novo in Saratoga Springs, NY offers a mix of dishes, from typical pizzeria fare to more gourmet options. The service is friendly, with knowledgeable staff. The meatballs, burrata caprese, chicken ala vodka, and chicken ala vodka pizza are standouts, leaving diners impressed. The atmosphere is amazing, making it a new favorite spot for many visitors. Despite some minor issues, Taverna Novo comes highly recommended for a delicious dining experience.
The restaurant offers an old-world, unpretentious ambiance. The bartender is attentive and helpful, allowing customers to sample wines before selecting one. The broccoli rabe is cooked to perfection, and the rigatoni with chianti-braised pork ragu and the orecchiette with sausage are both delicious. The tiramisu is also properly made and delicious.
The restaurant offers a prix fixe menu during Saratoga Springs restaurant week, providing good value. The portions are small but enough, and the salmon piccata is particularly praised. While the Caesar salad is basic, and the gelato may not be authentic, the overall experience is positive, with a kind and attentive staff.
