I ate lunch at TJ Finleys with a friend. My bill was $17.38. I added a $4.00 tip. I noticed on my bank statement that they charged me $37.38. I knew I didn’t spend that much on lunch so I disputed the charges with my bank. After my bank investigating, I got sent my receipt along with a note from TJ Finleys that a $20 tip was added to my check by “mistake”. This was no mistake. How do u mistake $4 for $20.
