I'll start by saying that this was the worst greek food I have ever eaten... I got a gyro platter, the meat was hard, and rice was extremely dry. The salad was old, soggy, and witled, and they gave no dressing. I will not be going back... service was fine, but the food was terrible..

Honestly the food is so good with plentiful portions..This is set up for grab and go not a sit down Atmosphere .The food is cooked to order Here.. I got a chicken soup and there was so much chicken In it.. pita bread is fluffy and fresh .The large chunks of nicely seasoned and moist chicken thats not overcooked was great to see..Im looking forward to calling in my next order...The people just keep coming in one after another..

A lot of changes have been taken place in this once my favorite take out spot. Now the food is tasteless and salty. I ordered the split pea soup which used to be so delicious, now tasteless and salty. The rice pilaf used to be my favorite. Only salty. I don't frequent there as often, but when I do go, I regret it. I hope they get back on track. The prices are raised for less delicious food.

I was looking for a new greek restaurant and gave this place a try. I went there around 6 pm and a lady took my order. I ordered two platters and I was asked to wait. I sat there watching people come order their food, eat and leave while I was sitting there like a fool. Finally, around 6:45 pm a guy asked me if I had ordered my food. I informed him that I have been waiting for 45 minutes for my food. The guy looked around the counter and handed my bag which has been sitting there for the last 30 minutes. It’s beyond ridiculous that they didn’t have the courtesy to let me know that my food was ready. I walked out of there frustrated and I am never coming back again.The food was subpar, bland and the chicken was very salty. The pita bread was horrible. I don’t recommend their food. Stay miles away from this restaurant.

What counts here is the food. Consistently delicious and lots of it. The prices have skyrocketed but so have they everywhere. I gave "service" 4 stars because a few times I have left without something I had ordered. I gave "atmosphere" 3 stars because it's much too small and busy there to eat. Mediterranean Express is really a take-out place. Closed on Sundays.

Just had a falaffel and I must stay , it was excellent !!! The tahini gave it the added yum. You know I'll be visiting here often.Update June 2023. Just went back and falafel went from $6.75 to $9.75 . Sorry…. Won’t be back again!!Menu on web hasn’t been updated.

Ordered a medium Greek salad with the dressing on the side and a rice pudding.. was so looking forward to the salad.. when I got home there was no Greek dressing so now we know the salad is ruint because I live 6 miles away and the rice pudding was like water... I have never tasted something so bad in my life .. when I buy Greek food it is usually delicious.... I called just about the salad dressing and got an attitude, just wanted to let them know to be careful on the next order then I opened my rice pudding and became extremely... I will not go back there or recommend them to anyone ever again...

While somewhat expensive, Mediterranean Express packs a punch with their delightful gyro and pita bread.Will most definitely be coming back.
