The portion is too small for $12. Do not get the R1 Pork if you want a filling lunch.

Another tasty lunch at ChiMama's. We ordered Beef Noodle Soup and Crispy Chicken Bento and both were delicious.
Make sure you bring cash though as dine-ins are cash only.

The environment is clean and the service is friendly, but the portions are quite small and the prices are high. I also didn’t like the taste — it’s not as appetizing as it looked in the pictures. I wouldn’t come back again.

Absolutely delicious! I truly enjoy coming here, whether it’s to relax and eat alone or to share a meal with friends. The place is clean and well-kept, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is great. The food tastes fresh without being overloaded with MSG. My favourite is the chicken leg bento!!it’s just so tasty!

Real authentic Taiwanese food!
We wanted to try so many food but it was only the three of us including a toddler so we ordered the key items like beef soup noodle, braised pork belly rice and chicken cutlet rice with side of Taiwanese sausage, beans and calamari fish balls.
So our toddler loved the fried chicken cutlet w rice and the noodle. He even had the beans. The beans were a bit over cooked but as long as my toddler can have some, it’s ok when most of the other items were made fairly well.
The drawback of this place is the sanitation of the restaurant. The toilet needs some more attention and the shop felt quite packed. They said it’s a self service restaurant but the station outside took up so much space, they could have had the cashier do some minor tidying up while freeing up some space for people to walk through.
Also the cashier is pretty firm on cash and don’t accept Zelle. So be prepare if you want to order. No reservation and not very kids friendly (no high chair). The place was too packed, they gave us a two seater for the 3 of us while he could have combined two small tables together or moved us to a bigger table when the table comes up. But no, not that kind of service here.
Other wise, the food is really authentic and we will come back again. Just hope some improvements can be made.

10/10 would recommend this Taiwanese restaurant! They have all the classic Taiwanese dishes like Lu Rou Fan (pork belly with rice) and Popcorn Chicken. It’s a fast casual place so you order at the counter and self-serve. The food is really authentic and full of flavor, just like eating a home-cooked meal!

I’ve eaten at 吉妈妈面馆 more than fifty times, and it never disappoints. My absolute favorites are the fried chicken thigh bento and the stinky tofu. Don’t let the dark color of the chicken fool you—it’s perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. The flavor is rich and satisfying, with every bite better than the last.
The stinky tofu is another highlight—crispy, flavorful, and served with traditional Chinese-style pickled vegetables that add a refreshing contrast and balance the dish perfectly. The portions are generous, and the food always feels warm and homemade.
Just note that this is a self-service restaurant.
Whether you dine in or take out, the food and experience are consistently great. If you’re into authentic Taiwanese flavors with comforting sides, this spot is a must-visit!

I ordered fried chicken rice to go. When got home I realized the chicken was over fried, DEEP DARK, yet they never care and serve the customer.

Our dealership is just a few blocks away, and this is not the first time we’ve ordered lunch from your place.
We specifically mentioned during the phone order that we needed utensils, and even when our staff went to pick up the food, they asked the front desk if utensils were included — the answer was yes.
Yet again, just like several times with Uber Eats, no utensils were provided.
This is honestly very frustrating.
