Love this place so much! The food is amazing, never been disappointed, the yakitori, nabe, octopus salad, mocktails, happy hour deals are great!! The service is on point, and food comes out quickly, as it should for an izakaya. The interior decor is super cute, with lantern lights, cat posters, and one piece anime everywhere.

Absolutely love the vibe here! I have been here twice and it is such a lovely place upstairs for the izakaya. The sake and cocktails are really nice. The place is not loud so it is a good spot to catch up with a friend. Absolutely love it!

Absolutely an amazing experience m. We just got back from Japan not too long ago and this place definitely brought us back. The meat skewers Yakitori are out of this world. The staff does an excellent job and they’re very attentive. You can’t go wrong with any of their choices, but we loved the beef udon the most. We’ll definitely be back very soon
Great prices and great decor. It can get a little crowded on the weekends

My experience would have been a great one, if it hadn’t been for us feeling rushed out at the end of our meal. We understand that the seating is limited, but we arrived at the restaurant around 6:30pm, were seated, and it did take quite a while for us to have our order taken (another party of two who came in after us were seated before we had our order taken which took about 15 min. Around 7:40pm, only a little over an hour since we were seated, we felt we were being rushed with waiters looking our way and mumbling and even handing us the “free mochi ice cream dessert” and bill before we even asked. We shared an entire bottle of sake as well as a nabe and few yakitori that came out to about $150 before tip and even contemplated leaving the 18% for how quickly we felt like we were being forced to leave. We understand it is a tight space and there was another party of two waiting but from receiving our first plates to leaving, it was only a little over an hour. For a bill of over $150 we felt it was not very hospitable to feel this amount of pressure to leave especially because we really enjoy Izakaya and have frequented it often. We really do hope that there is better discernment when it comes to pressuring patrons to leave especially if they are spending quite a bit to stay and enjoy their time. This experience unfortunately left a bitter experience for us and we will not be frequenting it often.
Had takoyaki, oden and yaki udon. Everything was delicious. Loved the decor as well.

Authentic little Japanese eatery in that it was up a flight of rickety stairs, all the staff and clientele were Japanese afaict and the food tasted as if I were in Tokyo

Such a cool spot! Drinks are amazing (try the Bluejay) and food is very good too. They also have very cheap and delicious skewers of meat and veggies. Service is so friendly and fast and to top it off, the whole place is decorated from top to bottom in One Piece posters and figures! If you’re an anime fan, I highly suggest stopping in!

Came here on a quiet afternoon for lunch when I had an extra hour to spare. It was perfect. The pace of service was on point. The green tea was hot, the waitress have some recommendations when I was undecided. Most importantly you can chose the thickness of your ramen noodles. Would come back.
