Extremely disappointed with the service! I visited a few days ago with some friends for dinner. We were enjoying some beer and then moved on to sake. There was still half a glass left in the bottle, but a waiter tried to clear it away. When I told him we weren't finished yet, instead of apologizing, he literally slammed the bottle back onto the table and just walked off.
While he might seem 'polite' on the surface, he lacks any genuine hospitality or care. It was incredibly rude and ruined our mood. Truely unprofessional. I have no intention of returning.

Very friendly staff and great food, good for casual hang outs with a few friends. It can be a little cramped and crowded, don't expect private booths/seats here.

Definitely suggest reserving in advance if it's a larger party or you're going at a busy time (e.g. Friday night)

This place is great. Just want to clarify that the ramen spot is opened till 10 PM on WEEKDAYS and on Weekends they’re open till 11:30 PM. I hate being the last customer, but Google needs to fix the times on this business. Great ramen. Definitely recommend.

The food was good but I do have a bit of an issue. Ordered the chicken karrage and something triggered an allergic reaction. I think there needs to be some kind of clear allergy warnings on their menus at least. I'm alive to write this review clearly, I just know now not to order the chicken karrage next time at least. Been here enough to say that I like the vibe here, clearly the owner is a massive One Piece fan, all and all it's good spot with that only one issue.

Love this place so much! The food is amazing, never been disappointed, the yakitori, nabe, octopus salad, mocktails, happy hour deals are great!! The service is on point, and food comes out quickly, as it should for an izakaya. The interior decor is super cute, with lantern lights, cat posters, and one piece anime everywhere.

Absolutely love the vibe here! I have been here twice and it is such a lovely place upstairs for the izakaya. The sake and cocktails are really nice. The place is not loud so it is a good spot to catch up with a friend. Absolutely love it!

Absolutely an amazing experience m. We just got back from Japan not too long ago and this place definitely brought us back. The meat skewers Yakitori are out of this world. The staff does an excellent job and they’re very attentive. You can’t go wrong with any of their choices, but we loved the beef udon the most. We’ll definitely be back very soon
Great prices and great decor. It can get a little crowded on the weekends

My experience would have been a great one, if it hadn’t been for us feeling rushed out at the end of our meal. We understand that the seating is limited, but we arrived at the restaurant around 6:30pm, were seated, and it did take quite a while for us to have our order taken (another party of two who came in after us were seated before we had our order taken which took about 15 min. Around 7:40pm, only a little over an hour since we were seated, we felt we were being rushed with waiters looking our way and mumbling and even handing us the “free mochi ice cream dessert” and bill before we even asked. We shared an entire bottle of sake as well as a nabe and few yakitori that came out to about $150 before tip and even contemplated leaving the 18% for how quickly we felt like we were being forced to leave. We understand it is a tight space and there was another party of two waiting but from receiving our first plates to leaving, it was only a little over an hour. For a bill of over $150 we felt it was not very hospitable to feel this amount of pressure to leave especially because we really enjoy Izakaya and have frequented it often. We really do hope that there is better discernment when it comes to pressuring patrons to leave especially if they are spending quite a bit to stay and enjoy their time. This experience unfortunately left a bitter experience for us and we will not be frequenting it often.

Authentic little Japanese eatery in that it was up a flight of rickety stairs, all the staff and clientele were Japanese afaict and the food tasted as if I were in Tokyo
