Really enjoyed this restaurant. My wife and I wanted to grab food before our movie at the playhouse. We are so glad we did. The Octopus appetizer was amazing, cooked and seasoned perfectly. I had the duck which was superb and again the seasoning was perfect. The vegetable medley that came with it was outstanding. My wife had the artichokes. We came across this spot when strolling through downtown Bedford. The decor is cute and the overall ambience is quite homey and cozy. The food is solid but nothing out of this world. I liked the chicken pot pie, and the pappardelle dish was also quite good.
Nice to sit outside but traffic is noisy. Head waiter was very unfriendly and when we asked if we could have an order of bread with our salads he said “No, no bread”. Walked away. Order was served with dressing on top even though we asked for it to be served on the side. No apology. We asked another, young & pleasant waiter for bread and within one minute a basket of bread and EVOO arrived. I wouldn’t return and was really disappointed my visitor had this as her first...
