Absolutely amazing. I’ve been going here since I was a little kid and the cookies, pastries, and raspberry mousse are my personal favorites! The brownies are very good too!

Bedford Village pastry is amazing! The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. I am greeted immediately as I walk in and able to get everything I need quickly with outstanding quality. Bedford is lucky to have amazing people working at a great place!

I have never used this bakery but was coming from out of town for a baby shower and took a chance. I had a strange request....needed a cake that looked like a tree stump. The cake was not only absolutely delicious but matched the picture I had provided. Would highly recommend this bakery!

I’ve been to this bakery many times over the years, I have always purchased the moose cakes from the freezer section. They are so delicious each time. Now thinking those are pre-bought. The cookies are always amazing. So I thought to change it up.
However my review is about the last two purchases which I have been extremely disappointed, the carrot cake and the red velvet, they were dry and stale awful tasting and that will be the last time I will get a cake from them. I also witnessed flys on the cookies in their display cases. So I hope this review gets them to keep their products fresh and seal their display cases.

I’ve only ever been to this bakery a few times, but each time I walk in through the doors it feels like home! I love everything about this place, from the first whiff of bread I get on the way in, to the last bite in my tiramisu cake. On top of the delicious flavor they offer in everything they make, their friendly service is absolutely amazing. The whole staff is super friendly, and loving. I was personally helped by Leo and Kathy who recommended some amazing deserts for my family. I drive from 40 min out just for my bakery needs, and I’d do it over and over again with no hesitation. Don’t think twice about this bakery, if you’re in or around area just give it a taste and you won’t regret it!

I had a craving for a Boston Cream Pie so I ordered one. Not only was it a work of art but the tastes and the textures were perfect! (sorry Parker House)

So I bought a pecan danish a raspberry danish and a French baguette. The pastries were stale and the baguette was not edible . It was so stale and so hard I wondered why they would even offer it for sale . I won’t be going back .

Be very careful if you have a nut allergy. Their products are not marked contains nuts and my daughter ended up in the ER with anaphylactic reaction to carrot cake! Be warned they have the carrot cakes right next to other cakes and this could be life threatening. I don’t know what else contains nuts because they dint have the cakes labeled. Other bakery’s do. I also don’t find their cakes to be fresh. The cookies are very good though.

Bedford Village Pastry is a great town bakery! The store always has seasonal fruit options, as well as many traditional desserts and pastries. Our family has purchased many birthday cakes there, and everyone has loved everything! The staff has always been very knowledgeable and kind when explaining various things.

I have bought carrot cakes two years in a row from here. They do a beautiful job with the writing on the cakes, pretty cursive. They took my suggestions and even added roses which I didn’t ask for this year but it was a plus! My family member loves flowers so I was really happy. The carrot cake is so good and yes it’s a bit pricey but you’re supporting local and great quality with care. I would definitely recommend!

Unassuming, not-to-be-missed gem of a stop for some of the best pastries anywhere about. Wonderful personal service, too....

From the pasties I've tried, accolades can go all around. The apple tart is tender, rich, intense and large enough to feel indulgent. The tiny fruit gels are a revelation of flavor and cookies manage to keep their own flavors even lined up in a box....

I'm a nut for almond horns and try to grab one when I can, often at the not-quite-a-chain grocery store at the end of this little shopping strip. These are priced about the same but blow everything else out of the park. Rich, chewy, chocolatey and almond-lush. About the best I've ever had.

But of course this is a pastry shop in an upscale town and great sweets are to be expected.

And then there's the bread....

I really didn't expect the bread to be this good in a little bakery. Surprisingly well-priced for freshly made artesian breads, these are exceptional tasting with a strong crust and the slight tang of sourdough. If you're a good bread lover, don't miss the darker, richer peasant loaf (also sourdough) that's well-worth its small upcharge.
