No complaints about this place. As with other reviews I leave. I'd have liked to leave a 4.5 star or even 4.6 or 7 but google does not allow that so it's 4 or 5 and 5 imo should only be for the truly special places. This place is great though and I highly recommend it.

I used to live in Ohio where there a number of really amazing steak places, some are nationally ranked by various food magazines. Not saying Ohio has the best and there are numerous great steak places all over the midwest, but generally in the northeast, I've largely been disappointed and tend to avoid steak when eating out around here. Well we decided to try their Filet and it was really amazing. The highlight of our meal. Also got a lazy lobster which was great but the steak won the night!! I haven't had steak like that outside of the midwest before.

For the rest, service was great and the atmosphere is really nice. It's an old house converted to a restaurant, though it's not rundown at all.

Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic meal; the flavors were out of this world. You don’t need to go to NYC to have a great meal. Le Poisson exceeded my expectations, and I am certain it won’t take long for them to earn their first Michelin star.

Doesn't particularly stand out. Love the little fish pillows in the entryway couch. And the chicken sculptures.
For the offered menu it is pricey, the bill came out to 400$ for three.
For example a plate appetizer of 4 large shrimp is 25$ with sauce, abundant ice and 4 lemon slices. Though it was tasty.

Nothing on the main menu, non appetizer offers were vegan.

Plenty of parking.
We were there for father's day, the restaurant had plenty of staff, and wasn't too packed. But it did require a reservation, which we made.

Parking: The parking lot has no cement, or asphalt, gravel only.
Plenty of parking spots.

Wheelchair accessibility: The bathroom facilities are made to the required code for accessibility.
I am not sure how someone who is in a wheelchair would enter the restaurant. The parking lot has no cement, or asphalt, gravel only. This in my view makes using any carrier or wheelchair, a no go.

Again, rating this against restaurants in this caliber. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was good, the food was mediocre.

Needs to re-think management. Specifically, the Maitre D went out of his way to make us believe that we were inconveniencing him while we spent $700.00 on dinner. At this price point the customer does come first and while the chef is excellent he needs to find a more professional person to be his front man

Best restaurant in Westchester and Fairfield County for fine dining in French cuisine category. Chef Thomas Burke is the best of his generation! I'm obsessed with the new bar/lounge area, Petit Salon. This space is walk-in friendly and has its own menu!!!

I recently had the pleasure of attending an opening night cocktail party at Le Poisson in Bedford and have to say that everything was wonderful! The upscale French farmhouse aesthetic is like nothing else in the area, and the separate Salon and bar area is perfect for mingling and conversation. The food is delicious (best lamb I've ever had), the presentation is impeccable, and the staff are wonderful. Excellent food and service. Chef Thomas Burke has created an exceptional menu and I can't wait to go back! Definitely recommend.

Every dish was lukewarm or reheated. Duck was completely dry. Portions were too small for the price. Bread was the only good thing on the table. Champagne was not properly chilled. Not a true Michelin restaurant.

Excellent meal. We went with the chef's tasting and enjoyed every bite. Would return to try other menu items.

I have loved this restaurant for many many years. My father used to bring us here as children because he also loved it. It is every bit as good today as it was 30 years ago. The food is exquisite and the service is amazing. It’s well worth the steep price. I wish that the customers would dress appropriately because it’s very upsetting to be in such an elegant environment and see people wearing clothes that one would wear to a gym. I think it’s one of those restaurants where men should always wear a jacket and a tie, and ladies should look elegant. Just my opinion but I think you should dress for this wonderful place.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Cremaillere and I must say, it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the enchanting ambiance. The quaint French atmosphere, complete with delightful service and soft lighting, transported me to a quaint French village. What truly stole the show were the incredible culinary creations that graced our table. The duck and lamb chop I indulged in were cooked to perfection, bursting with flavors that left me craving for more. The meat was tender, juicy, and paired perfectly with the accompanying sauces and sides… Let's talk about the soufflé, oh my goodness! It was an absolute masterpiece and surely the best I've ever tasted, not only within La Cremaillere but in the entire country! Chef Thomas Burke's expertise shone brightly in this light, airy, and incredibly flavorful creation. It was as if time froze while I savored every spoonful. Highly recommend the chef’s tasting menu and La Cremaillere restaurant!
