Needs to re-think management. Specifically, the Maitre D went out of his way to make us believe that we were inconveniencing him while we spent $700.00 on dinner. At this price point the customer does come first and while the chef is excellent he needs to find a more professional person to be his front man

Best restaurant in Westchester and Fairfield County for fine dining in French cuisine category. Chef Thomas Burke is the best of his generation! I'm obsessed with the new bar/lounge area, Petit Salon. This space is walk-in friendly and has its own menu!!!

I recently had the pleasure of attending an opening night cocktail party at Le Poisson in Bedford and have to say that everything was wonderful! The upscale French farmhouse aesthetic is like nothing else in the area, and the separate Salon and bar area is perfect for mingling and conversation. The food is delicious (best lamb I've ever had), the presentation is impeccable, and the staff are wonderful. Excellent food and service. Chef Thomas Burke has created an exceptional menu and I can't wait to go back! Definitely recommend.

Every dish was lukewarm or reheated. Duck was completely dry. Portions were too small for the price. Bread was the only good thing on the table. Champagne was not properly chilled. Not a true Michelin restaurant.

I have loved this restaurant for many many years. My father used to bring us here as children because he also loved it. It is every bit as good today as it was 30 years ago. The food is exquisite and the service is amazing. It’s well worth the steep price. I wish that the customers would dress appropriately because it’s very upsetting to be in such an elegant environment and see people wearing clothes that one would wear to a gym. I think it’s one of those restaurants where men should always wear a jacket and a tie, and ladies should look elegant. Just my opinion but I think you should dress for this wonderful place.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Cremaillere and I must say, it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the enchanting ambiance. The quaint French atmosphere, complete with delightful service and soft lighting, transported me to a quaint French village. What truly stole the show were the incredible culinary creations that graced our table. The duck and lamb chop I indulged in were cooked to perfection, bursting with flavors that left me craving for more. The meat was tender, juicy, and paired perfectly with the accompanying sauces and sides… Let's talk about the soufflé, oh my goodness! It was an absolute masterpiece and surely the best I've ever tasted, not only within La Cremaillere but in the entire country! Chef Thomas Burke's expertise shone brightly in this light, airy, and incredibly flavorful creation. It was as if time froze while I savored every spoonful. Highly recommend the chef’s tasting menu and La Cremaillere restaurant!

We have been to La Cremaillere many times over the past 40 years and returned for a birthday celebration. As always the restaurant was charming but the food failed to meet our expectations. The sweet breads were miniscule and accompanied by what tasted like rehydrated morels. The sauce tasted generic and did not convey any trace of the mushroomsMy wife had the Canard a l'orange. The duck was tough and the skin was definitely not crisp. There was no hint of orange in the sauce. We had read that the restaurant was under new management but if they have had an impact it was negative oneLa Cremaillere used to be a treat and for a special occasion the cost was worth the experience . Unfortunately it is now mediocre and overpriced

Classic French. The atmosphere reads Normandy or Alsace; it really does transport you there.

What a delightfully charming hidden gem. Our new favorite restaurant in the same rotation as the Inn at Pound Ridge and Le Escale (though the French food here is better). Asked Chef to come say hello and he trained at Le Bernadin - no wonder my halibut was perfection and the sauces swoon worthy- seriously, the cucumber sauce with the himachi tartare was so good that I wanted it in a glass. My husband asked the chef if he could leave me there for cooking lessons for the next month. Instead, we will just have to come back, and soon!

Anemic food and nothing stood out.- Hamachi ceviche was the worst I've ever had - a food truck could do it better- Poultry seasoning on the lamb chops was atrocious and ruined the lamb.  I asked for medium rare lamb and got medium rare lamb.  Also for high-end restaurant I was served end piece of the rack of lamb- The chocolate cube was stale, the mouse was sticky and not fluffy - clearly this was made long ago- The bar didn't know how to make a mocktail - excuse was they had no mint for a virgin mojito and the dessert came with a mint leaf *sigh*- The only good thing was that we didn't order the tasting menu and had to suffer through more terrible food- The decor was thrift store shopping with mismatched frames.  The plants in the entryway were not even planted in pots and were left in the nursery plastic containersOne thing I wonder is whether whoever from the michelin reviewers experienced this disaster was paid to include it in the michelin guide ... worst food in westchester!!!

Bring back some class French cuisine dishes. “New Menu” was ill described and food was not enticing. Sure they made money charging over $400 for two people!

Wife and I hadn't visited for 47 years so a bit of a gap and we were curious how we would find it. Unchanged, and in a good way. It isn't just nostalgia. Service on a friday night with a very large party in the adjoining was unruffled, personable and prompt. The food is far from nouvelle and the decor is "country French" frozen in time but it all holds up just fine. We enjoyed ourselves.
