Great place, the food is amazing! You can sit at a table with tablecloths and dine inside. The menu offers so many things and if you don't see what you want, ask, it may be on the take out menu and still available! My favorite Chinese food on Long Island for over 40 years! Don't miss the shrimp egg food young!!
I rarely eat Americanized Chinese food. But on occasion I want my Gen Tso or Orange Chicken and The Orient gets it right. It’s exactly what you would want it to be. Crunchy chicken with a delicious gloopy sauce that pairs with rice.
The dumplings were perfectly stuffed and bursting with flavor, absolutely delicious. The General Tso’s chicken was crispy, savory, and just the right amount of spicy. And the house fried rice? Out of this world! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exceeded expectations. Highly recommend The Orient in Bethpage for anyone craving amazing Chinese cuisine.
