Pumpernickel's Restaurant

We were here during a long weekend visit to Lake George upon the recommendation of friends who had been there before. All I can say is "wow" in a good way! The service was good, I forget our waitress's name. But the food, the food! We ordered the mayors platter, I think that's what it is called. We came here for our 35th Anniversary dinner. Really nice people, great food, really big selection. The beer selection is perfect and desserts were fabulous. They take reservations. Don't waste your time and $ at the Sagamore on "fine dining" when Pumpernickels is cleaner, nicer, with much better food. Make a reservation and you won't be disappointed. Authentic food, drink, and people.

Me and my family were on the boat all day and were googling places to eat in the areas and stumbled upon the Pumpernickel website. Looking to try something new and out of our norm we went straight there as soon as they opened. We were quickly seated outside and greeted by our waitress Diana.
