“This is my new favorite diner in the Syracuse area. Fast service with perfectly cooked eggs by the chef. Wait staff are attentive, helpful, and very friendly. Or you can sit at the bar in front of the chef cooking on the grill. Very entertaining if there is a seat available. Honey packets are available, if ordering hot tea. The smell and taste of those delicious peppers and onions mixed in the home fries makes them the best tasting around. They also just remodeled the building which looks great.”

“Came in here today on my lunch break and was greeted with a friendly smile and assistance from the cashier. I looked on the menu and was bummed out because I was in the mood for hawawshi but they didn’t have it. The man behind the counter gladly offered to make it for me, I was so elated. The hawawshi was absolutely delicious and took me back to the ones I had in Egypt 🇪🇬. If you want great food at a decent price with a friendly atmosphere and great music this is the place for you. I highly recommend it. 10 stars ✨”

“Absolutely phenomenal! I ordered the Kabob Guys Mixed Grill Family Platter for pick up. Everyone bit of it was delicious! Our family enjoyed it all. The staff was so friendly when I picked it up. Even offered to help me to the car. Food was ready at my scheduled pick up time and was hot. I will easily go back and I know my family will too! So great!”

“Went to Joey's for the first time last night. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was. From the fresh bread with yummy garlic butter to delicious salads and fabulous entrees. I ordered Shrimp Francaise and it was the best food I have ever eaten. I brought Tiramisu home for desert. Again, mouth watering, so so delicious. My friends had eggplant Parmesan, clams, salmon, chicken french, and all raved about their entrees. But the other best part was the host Chris and our wonderful server Nancy. She is by far the best server ever. She made our evening fun while providing excellent service. Totally in tuned with our table and always answering our questions with knowledge and a wonderful attitude. The ambiance was great. Nice little tables for two in corners and just the right atmosphere for everyone.”

In every basket I include the three items that are a part of an old traditional house blessing: “Bread—that this house may never know hunger, Salt—that life may always have flavor, and Wine—that joy and prosperity may reign forever” I always use small, local businesses for the products to make and fill my basket. Especially the bread! I want it to be same-day fresh, and from a bakery as close to the client’s new home as possible. Well, yesterday I had a final walkthrough with a client in the Scottholm neighborhood, and Tous Les Jours was the closest option. Boy was I blown away by every detail of this shop!! It was pristine, every item and every surface sparkled and gleamed, there were so many delicious looking pastries and so many I had never seen before! The chefs were dressed in beautiful gingham uniforms and chatted with us as easily as if they had known us for years. I will definitely be going back many times. And my clients very much appreciated the delicious, authentic French Baguette!”

“I don’t usually write reviews for restaurants, but the White Moose Diner in Constantia truly deserves one. I often see their Friday specials posted in local Facebook groups, and they always sound great. Tonight’s feature was the B.O.B. (Big Ole Burrito) — a giant tortilla filled with brisket, pulled pork, and seasoned rice with chipotle sauce, topped with creamy mac and cheese sauce, and served with a side of hand-cut fries. We decided to give it a try, and it did not disappoint! The portion was generous, the food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. The diner itself is small — more of a hidden gem, “hole-in-the-wall” kind of place — but it was spotless and welcoming. We’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for the B.O.B. to return and are looking forward to trying more of their specials.”
