Tommy's Pizza in Broad Channel is a local favorite for its delicious and unique pizza offerings. The restaurant is known for its Chicago-style deep dish pizza, which takes time to prepare as the dough needs to rise. Customers appreciate the friendly service, with the owner himself calling to let them know when their pizza is ready.
The menu features a variety of classic Italian-American dishes, including pepperoni pinwheels and chicken rolls, which are described as crunchy and flavorful. The deep dish vodka pizza is a standout, with a thick, crunchy crust and a tasty vodka sauce, though some find the amount of basil to be a bit much.
Reviewers praise Tommy's as an excellent local spot, with one noting it may be the best regular pizza on the boulevard, surpassing other well-known pizzerias in the area. The restaurant also offers free delivery, making it a convenient option for the community. Overall, Tommy's Pizza is described as an amazing, hidden gem serving up delicious, well-made pizza and other Italian specialties.
