Amazing food, the location is a bit hidden

This place is definitely more of a hidden food joint than a bakery. It has that classic “hole in the wall” vibe, unassuming from the outside and it was empty when I stopped by around lunchtime. I gave it a try based on some positive reviews. It seems to be a family-run business, which I respect, and there’s a noticeable sense of authenticity in the food.

That said, the cleanliness of the place raised some concerns. The interior felt a bit unkempt, and I didn’t see gloves being used during food prep. While I don’t expect fancy restaurant standards, I do expect basic cleanliness. The overall environment made me a little uneasy about how clean things might be in the kitchen.

I ordered a torta, my usual go-to item when trying new taquerias or casual Mexican spots. I’ll give credit where it’s due: the torta was really good. It was big, heavy, and full of flavor. The bread was fresh, the meat was well-seasoned, and it came with all the classic toppings like lettuce, tomato, jalapeños, and avocado. No carrots, but that varies by place and wasn’t a big deal.

Would I come back? Maybe for takeout. The food has potential, and I hope they clean up the space a bit so the overall experience matches the quality of the food. I have a feeling if the health department stopped by here they would have some comments.
Wanted to give a 4 star because of the food but can’t see past the environment and cleanliness.

Love this place! Hand made tortillas and you’re able to buy other Mexican products here as well.

Very inconspicuous place but the other reviewer was spot on:The birria tacos are flavorful, delicious, full of fresh ingredients, and made on the spot with minimal wait time.Tried it with non-alcoholic sangria and a fresh (baked on premises, ask for a fresh batch) sweet Mexican bread.Prices were very reasonable and the menu was expansive. This place isn’t just tacos and breads.

Here’s what I got:
Queso birria tacos and consomé: perfectly cooked, great meat portions and delicious consomé to dip it in 10/10

Torta;
Extremely portion sized, literally a football. A good torta is a big torta, and not only was it good bread, the breaded chicken was well cooked, balance of condiments and flavor side sauces. you’ll definitely be full after this 10/10

Concha:
Soft and sweet 7/10

I stopped by with my sister to try out the Mexican sweet bread . It was very delicious. I will definitely be stopping by again to buy more bread.

Best food I had in the entire neighborhood I honestly recommend people to come eat here and give it a try a small business with so much potential and I hope others that end up coming to eat here realize that once they get to munching. Great service just everything so perfect hoping this establishment gets more recognition as it just started.
