I’ve given this place a few chances but it seems to get worse. I tried for the first time a few years back when they had a young lady from the south at the counter, she was very attentive to the customers and was always polite. But the last few times I’ve tried them (especially over the last year), they’ve lacked in customer service. The young lady didn’t bother giving my instructions to the kitchen once again so once again my food didn’t come out the way I wanted. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken cutlet. The fettuccine wasn’t cooked right, and the chicken cutlet was over cooked/dry/flavorless and tasted old. The garlic knots that came with the food were also burnt at the bottom. I also asked for extra sauce and was willing to pay for it but they didn’t even bother: which is insane cause this dish was about $20 with tip. When I asked if they can please just add some extra sauce on the side to rectify the incorrect order they didn’t want too. The price of their food is too expensive for its lack of taste, portions, & bad customer service. It’s like they put no love in their food. I would only recommend the pizza as I hear it’s decent. But in reality there are better pizza shops closer to westchester square.
My advice to them would be to improve customer service, listen to the customers needs and communicate the order properly to the kitchen staff. You push away loyal customers when the service is inconsistent & this would include anyone those customers would recommend.

One of the few places I can give 5 stars to and I'm sad when I move I'll be losing this gem ? have been ordering for years and I have not had a bad experience. I love the wide range of menus given by this restaurant, quality has always been consistent from my experience, the deals are great and so are the employees even just ordering on the phone is pleasant. Always recommend and order for get togethers !

This is the neighborhood spot. I remember the old capri and use to love it but getting familiar with the new capri was easy and food options are pretty delicious. The girls (cashiers) are polite and friendly. I love to stop in for the pizza special. (2 cheese slices and a can of soda for about $6). That’s a steal this day and age.

Forgive me if this review sounds like it was written by a kid gushing over his sweetheart. I just have to give a big Shot-out to Sal, the man responsible for Capri Pizza. He happens to be the man who originally ran the Cross Bronx Pizzeria on Castle Hill Avenue next to the Q44 Bus Stop! Since my youthful days back in the 1980's, his pizza was a big part of my weekday afternoons. By the turn of the new century, Sal moved to his current business next to the Zerega Avenue Subway Station. A slice of pizza from his shop is a Bronx tradition not to be missed. I endorse this Pizzeria wholeheartedly! Manga!❤?
