I had the casa. The sweetness of the bell peppers and balsamic vinegar really completely overpower the prosciutto and fresh mozzarella. If your homemade mozzarella is what you are known for people should be able to taste it. On top of that the bread was really gummy like and soggy. Doesn’t deserve the hype in my opinion.
I had the Bronx Tale sandwich🥪🥙 which was good but I don't know why they had so many workers for such a small place❔️ it was about 7 workers behind the counter & 3 others in the other counter & side. The workers could barely fit back there..smh..I think their over staff there which they don't really need.🤷♂️ But it's a good place.
This was the first stop on a food crawl of the Arthur Avenue Italian neighborhood and it couldn’t have been a better start in terms of food. There is a bit of a line, the place is really tiny, and the staff behind the counter can be a bit brusk, but the sandwiches are amazing. We shared one with prosciutto, arugula, and mozzarella and it was amazing! Quality ingredients, the star being their homemade mozzerella, and a perfect melding of flavors. This alone was worth the trip!
