Ah, the art of patience — something I never knew I’d need to master until I entrusted our beloved coffee machine to this establishment. If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to send something off into a black hole and just hope it returns one day, I highly recommend the experience.
We were told the repair would take a “reasonable amount of time.” Apparently, their definition of “reasonable” involves multiple months of radio silence, unanswered phone calls, and a general sense of mystery. It’s been so long, I’m not even sure I remember what our machine looks like anymore — perhaps it’s being lovingly restored in an alternate dimension.
Now, to be fair, I’ve learned a lot through this process: mainly how not to run a service-based business. If you enjoy being ignored while clinging to the faint hope that maybe, just maybe, someone will call you back, this is the place.
In conclusion, if you’re in no rush for your machine, enjoy guessing games, and want to practice radical acceptance, this might be the repair shop for you. Otherwise, you may want to explore other options where timeframes are respected and communication exists.

I've been buying from Cerini for years. All my espresso coffee, plus a new Olympia Cremina machine to replace mine from the 80s, and an Olympia Moka grinder. Their products are first rate and they're always ready to help with service items. Couldn't be more pleased! 5 star+++

I was in Monday, 4-21-2025. The staff is incredible. They are friendly and helpful. I was looking for regular caffe Motta pods and they had none out. Marco? I think that is his name, sorry. He went to the back to see if a shipment had come in and he came out with the coffee. Thank you so much for taking the time to look.

I love this family run store and they have more than just great coffee. This pasta sauce I got from the store is out of this world! It’s unlike any pasta sauce I’ve had and it makes my pasta so so delicious! Also, I’m a bad cook and the fact that I don’t have to do anything but simply put this on my pasta and it elevates the taste immediately is a great great plus for me! I already finished half a bottle within two days. 😋

We had our espresso machine repaired by Cerini recently. It’s an Italian machine that apparently is not very popular in the US as they were the only shop in New York willing to fix it. The downsides: they had a long backlog of repairs so after I dropped it off it took 6-8 weeks for them to take a look and send a quote. Also, after we got it home post repairs, we discovered it had a new issue and was leaking. The upsides: when we called them about the issue they immediately took it back and re-repaired it (same day) for no additional charge. Their communication is impeccable, from the accurate wait time on the backlog, the assessment and quote, and the response to our issue. Yes, it would have been great not to have to trek back to the Bronx for the third time, but things happen and the way a business responds to these issues speaks volumes. They were honest, communicative, and the price was very fair. I would return to them any time.
We order parts for our older espresso machine from Cerini. Orders are always sent promptly and correctly. This time I ordered the wrong quantity and sent an email about my mistake. It was acknowledged immediately and the order was corrected.
